About Marsad

Marsad builds small, focused worlds instead of sprawling ones.

One idea, all the way through

That's not a resource constraint dressed up as a philosophy — it's the actual bet: that a game built around one idea, followed all the way through, ends up more worth a player's time than ten ideas each explored halfway. Every project here starts from a single mechanic, mood, or question, and stays in development until that one thing is done right.

Arabic first

Most games made for Arabic-speaking players are translated into Arabic after the fact — built in English, then localised. Marsad works the other way around.

Arabic is the language the studio designs in first: the wordmark, the interface, the pacing of a sentence in a menu. English comes second, as a genuine second language for the games, not a set of subtitles bolted onto an English original. It changes real decisions — how much space a heading needs, how a layout mirrors, which words actually fit a button — not just which font renders.

Craft and language, one decision

None of this makes a game good by itself. It just means every game that reaches a player has already been through a studio that treats craft, and the language it's built in, as the same decision.
